An intensivist is a physician sub-specialty that significantly improves the quality of care and cost efficiency of the ICU. This had been well-documented by independent groups, including Leapfrog. AICU has licensed proven application software that provides sophisticated alert mechanisms to ICU caregivers, as well as video to the bedside and two-way audio capability. This suite of capabilities enables intensivists to remotely monitor ICU beds and provide 24 hour coverage, 7 days a week.

Basin Water is the leading provider of turnkey solutions that remove contaminants from groundwater sources. Drinking water shortages are increasingly common in the Southwest and Western states. Ground water, however, continues to be the primary drinking water supply for 50% of the U.S. Due to EPA requirements, over 16,000 wells are out of compliance in the U.S. for arsenic, nitrate, perchlorate and other contaminants. In the past, ion exchange plants have been used to remove ground water contaminants. These are large, expensive solutions. Basin Water has developed a patented ion exchange system that can be installed at the source.
